The NZ Transport Agency advises motorists that the SH1 Takanini southbound off ramp in Auckland will be closed tonight (Monday 30 June) for emergency works to a guardrail after a crash at the weekend caused extensive damage.
To minimise disruption to motorway users, the closures will be timed between 9pm and 5am when traffic volumes are lighter.
A signposted detour will be in place.
The Transport Agency thanks drivers for their patience, and apologises for any inconvenience while this important work is carried out.
