Drainage work and resurfacing planned for SH3 at Turakina in January
From Tuesday 9 January until 26 January 2024, SH3 will be reduced to one lane under Stop/Go between 6am and 6pm Monday to Friday and some Saturdays, and is weather dependent.
Crews will be onsite near Edenmore Road, working on the drainage improvements and resurfacing.
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) expects the works will delay people’s journeys by up to 10 minutes.
Please plan your journey to take this delay into consideration, follow the traffic management and lower speed limit which will be in place during these works.
The work to improve drainage in the area is crucial to future proofing this stretch of road and we want to thank road users for their support while we carry out this work.
