The NZ Transport Agency is advising that State Highway 35 Customhouse Street will be down to one lane on Tuesday 24 September from 7am to 5pm, while work is underway to repair the road at the railway crossing.
The road will be under stop/go management during the lane closure, with a 30 kilometre per hour speed restriction.
The repairs are aimed at addressing noise and vibration concerns from residents in the area, and strengthening previous repairs of the road.
Road users should expect delays and are advised to plan ahead. The Transport Agency would like to thank people for their patience and understanding.
