Update 3pm - State Highway 2 Hawke’s Bay Expressway is now open between Taradale Road and the Kennedy Road overbridge.
A crash closed this stretch of state highway earlier this afternoon.

State Highway 2 Hawke’s Bay Expressway is currently closed between the Taradale Road roundabout and Kennedy Road overbridge following a crash this afternoon.
Emergency services are onsite.
Road users are being advised to follow the directions of those emergency services.
