The NZ Transport Agency advises there will be a closure in place this evening (July 31) on SH16 at Te Atatu.
Traffic engineers are improving traffic flows around the Te Atatu section of the state highway.
This will result in the closure of the Patiki Road on-ramp and the Te Atatu Road off-ramp.
The closure will be in place between 10pm and 5am, dependent on weather.
The Transport Agency apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks motorists for their patience while we work to improve the journey for all road users through this section of the state highway.
