The NZ Transport Agency advises drivers that the southbound clip-on lanes on the Auckland Harbour Bridge (State Highway 1) and the Shelley Beach Road off-ramp will be closed Sunday night, 17 February for urgent surfacing repair work.
To minimise disruption to drivers, the NZTA will carry out repairs between 9pm and 5am when traffic is at its lightest.
The NZTA will have detours in place via Fanshawe St, and drivers are asked to follow the signposted routes.
Northbound lanes on the motorway are not affected by the closure.
The NZTA thanks motorists for their patience and apologises for any inconvenience while this important work is carried out.
