The NZ Transport Agency advises drivers that the Southern Motorway at Fanshawe Street southbound (State Highway 1) in central Auckland will be closed tonight (16 January, 2013) for urgent repairs to a damaged guard rail. The work will be carried out between 12:00am and 3am.
The NZTA will have detours in place via Hobson Street and Quay Street, and drivers are asked to follow the signposted routes.
