The NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) is advising drivers of upcoming changes over the next few weeks to a key intersection as it moves onto the next stage of the city’s highway improvements in Whangarei.
The Transport Agency, in partnership with the Whangarei District Council, is continuing to progress the upgrades to State Highway 1 (Western Hills Drive) through Whangarei. These projects, when completed, will help manage growing traffic numbers, improve safety and make travel easier for locals and visitors travelling in and around Whangarei.
The first of these changes to the intersection of SH1/ Selwyn Avenue East and West will be in place from 7pm tomorrow, Friday 26 September.
