Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises there will be a partial closure at the Borman Road/Resolution Drive roundabout in Rototuna North during the upcoming school holidays as part of works on the Hamilton Section of the Waikato Expressway.
From Monday 12 July to Saturday 24 July, the western Borman Road exit/entry to the roundabout will be closed to allow contractors to finish laying a 4m-deep drainage line under Borman Road. There is a complex network of power ducts and cables, telecommunications cables, and water supply pipes within the work zone that the contractors will need to work around.
This work is part of a larger piece of work to extend Resolution Drive from the roundabout to connect to the Waikato Expressway’s Resolution Drive Interchange.
A detour will be signposted and walking and cycling access will be maintained.
