Severe delays are expected this weekend so please avoid using the Northwestern Motorway if you can.
A large section of the Northwestern Motorway will be closed from 9pm Friday 13 until midday Sunday 15 January.
If you’re travelling to and from the city, please use the Hobsonville motorway and the Northern Motorway (SH1).
The work will demolish the old Selwood Road Bridge as part of the SH16 Lincoln Road Interchange improvements.
