The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 10 February.
Northern Motorway (SH1)
- Southbound lanes between Tristram Avenue off-ramp and Northcote Road on-ramp 7 - 9 February
- Tristram Avenue southbound on-ramp 7 - 9 February
Central Motorway Junction (SH1 & SH16)
- Fanshawe Street northbound on-ramp 5 February (approx 10:30p.m. to 6:00a.m.)
- Fanshawe Street northbound on-ramp 7 - 9 February (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
- Southbound lanes between Shelly Beach Road off-ramp and Hobson Street on-ramp 7 - 9 February (approx 11:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
Southern Motorway (SH1)
- Khyber Pass Road northbound off-ramp 8 February
- Gillies Avenue southbound off-ramp 7 - 8 February
- Gillies Avenue northbound on-ramp 7 February
- Northbound lanes between Market Road off-ramp and Gillies Avenue on-ramp 7 - 9 February (approx 11:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.) - subject to other works in the area, please check before travelling
- Ellerslie-Panmure Highway southbound on-ramp 8 February
- Takanini northbound on-ramp 8 February
- Southbound lanes between Manukau off-ramp and Takanini on-ramp 9 February
- Manukau southbound on-ramp (to SH1) 9 February
Northwestern Motorway (SH16)
- Westbound lanes between Te Atatu Peninsula off-ramp and Lincoln Road on-ramp 7 - 9 February
- Te Atatu Road westbound on-ramp 7 - 9 February
- Right turn restriction on to Lincoln Road westbound on-ramp 8 - 9 February
- Newton Road westbound on-ramp 7 February
Upper Harbour Motorway (SH18)
- Albany Highway eastbound off-ramp 7 February
Upper Harbour Drive (SH18A)
- Right and left turn restrictions into Upper Harbour Drive (SH18A) from Albany Highway 10 February (approx 4:00a.m. to 7:00a.m.)
Southwestern Motorway (SH20)
- Southbound lanes between Lambie Drive off-ramp and SH1 9 February
- Lambie Drive southbound on-ramp 9 February
- SH-20 northbound lanes closed between Cavendish Drive off and on ramps on 7 February from 9:00pm to 5:00am for urgent pavement repairs
