The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 3 February.
Northern Motorway (SH1)
- Northbound lanes between Northcote Road off-ramp and Tristram Avenue on-ramp 1 February
- Northcote Road northbound on-ramp 31 - 2 February
- Northcote Road northbound off-ramp 2 February
Auckland Harbour Bridge (SH1)
- Shelly Beach Road southbound off-ramp 31 January - 2 February (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
Central Motorway Junction (SH1 & SH16)
- (SH1) Southbound lanes between Fanshawe Street off-ramp and Hobson Street on-ramp 31 January - 2 February (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.) - subject to other works in the area, please check before travelling
- (SH1) Southbound lanes between Cook Street off-ramp and Hobson Street on-ramp 31 January – 2 February (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
- (SH1) Fanshawe Street northbound on-ramp 31 January – 2 & 4 February (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
Southern Motorway (SH1)
- Northbound lanes between Market Road off-ramp and Gillies Avenue on-ramp closed continuously from 8:00p.m. on Saturday, 28 January to 8:00a.m. on Monday, 30 January
- Market Road southbound off-ramp closed continuously from 8:00p.m. on Saturday, 28 January to 8:00a.m. on Monday, 30 January
- Greenlane northbound on-ramp closed continuously from 7:30p.m. on Saturday, 28 January to 8:00a.m. on Monday, 30 January
- Ellerslie-Panmure Highway northbound on-ramp closed continuously from 7:00p.m. on Saturday, 28 January to 8:00a.m. on Monday, 30 January
- South Eastern Arterial northbound on-ramp closed continuously from 7:15p.m. on Saturday, 28 January to 8:00a.m. on Monday, 30 January
- Khyber Pass Road southbound on-ramp 31 January (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
- Gillies Avenue southbound off-ramp 31 January - 2 February (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
- Northbound lanes between Market Road off-ramp and Gillies Avenue on-ramp 1 - 2 February (approx 11:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
- Greenlane southbound off-ramp 31 January
- Northbound lanes between Manukau off-ramp and Te Irirangi Drive on-ramp 31 January - 2 February (access still available to SH20 northbound)

Northwestern Motorway (SH16)
- Eastbound lanes between Lincoln Road off-ramp and Te Atatu Road on-ramp 31 January
- Westbound lanes between Te Atatu Road off-ramp and Lincoln Road on-ramp 1 - 2 February
- Lincoln Road westbound off-ramp 31 January
- Right turn restriction on to Lincoln Road westbound on-ramp 31 January - 2 February
Southwestern Motorway (SH20)
