Auckland overnight motorway closures 20 December 2020 – 9 January 2021

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 8 January 2021. Please note this traffic bulletin is updated every Friday.

Unless otherwise stated, closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am.

NORTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)

• Northcote Road northbound on-ramp, 21 December
• Northbound lanes between Northcote Road off-ramp and Northcote Road on-ramp, 20 December & 7 January (approx. 10:00pm to 5:00am)
• Southbound lanes between Northcote Road off-ramp and Northcote Road on-ramp, 21 December (approx. 10:00pm to 5:00am)
• Southbound lanes between Northcote Road off-ramp and Onewa Road on-ramp, 6 January (approx. 10:00pm to 5:00am)
• Northcote Road southbound on-ramp, 6 January
• Southbound lanes between Esmonde Road off-ramp and Onewa Road on-ramp, 7 January (approx. 10:00pm to 5:00am)
• Esmonde Road southbound on-ramp, 6–7 January
• Stafford Road northbound off-ramp, 21 December
• Curran Street northbound on-ramp, 21 December
• Shelly Beach Road southbound off-ramp, closed continuously from approx. 12:00am Saturday 26 December to 6:00am Monday 4 January
