A one kilometre stretch of SH3 Main Street in Palmerston North will be closed this Saturday (11 March) for road resealing.
The closure, between the intersections of Princess Street and Victoria Avenue, is scheduled to take place between 7am and 5pm.
These works are weather dependent and may be postponed at short notice.
There is a signposted detour in place. We’re advising road users to travel down Princess Street, Church Street and Victoria Ave before rejoining SH3; and the reverse for southbound travellers.
Pedestrian access will remain in place during the closure for businesses in the area.
We’re urging road users to plan ahead and allow a bit of extra time for your journey on Saturday.
