Your details

Vehicle details

Is the vehicle available for NZTA to inspect?

We can only progress complaints about an inspection if we can reliably determine the condition of the vehicle at the time.

You're not obligated to let us inspect and assess the vehicle, but it might limit our ability to follow up on your complaint if you don't.

Has the vehicle been repaired or altered since the inspection your complaint relates to?

We need to reliably determine the condition of the vehicle when it was certified. If it's already been repaired, we can’t investigate your complaint any further.

We appreciate you taking the time to submit a complaint – it's still helpful for us to know about your experience.

Does your complaint include tyres or wheels?

We can't progress complaints about tyres and wheels.

Because tyres or wheels are easily removed, we can’t reliably determine their condition at the time of the original inspection.

Who you’re complaining about

If you don't know who completed the inspection, please enter 'Unknown' in this field.

Where possible, you should try to resolve the issue with the inspecting organisation before you submit a complaint to us.
