Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is undertaking a project to develop a disposal schedule to cover Waka Kotahi information and records in both paper and digital formats.
Development of a new disposal schedule is part of a regular ten-year process to identify which records should be retained as public archives, and which records may be destroyed after a period as required by the Public Records Act 2005. The list of information and records is referred to as a disposal schedule that has an associated decision archive or destroy, for each type of information.
To ensure that appropriate disposal decisions are made, the project team is consulting with those who may have an interest in Waka Kotahi information and records prior to submission of the disposal schedule to Archives New Zealand. We invite you to provide feedback on the draft disposal actions being proposed.
