The Going the Extra Mile (GEM) Awards are a way for us to celebrate our contractors’ and consultants’ successes. It also exhibits outstanding examples of our diverse range of activities on our state highways. These annual awards acknowledge our suppliers’ commitment to our priorities and quality industry standards.
You may have heard – we’ve made some changes here at the NZ Transport Agency. We’ve transformed our organisation because the world is changing and we have changed with it to make an even bigger difference.
Technology is making rapid changes to the way people connect and the transport choices we have, and customers and business want faster, easier and more personalised transport services.
We have a new way of working – as one Agency delivering our promise to New Zealand – ‘great journeys to keep New Zealand moving’.
Our suppliers have helped make our Going the Extra Mile (GEM) Awards a success – year on year. We’re keen to build on this success, and bring these awards with us into the future.
