Over the next couple of Friday nights, roadworkers will be laying the final road surface along a short section of SH58 near Bradey Road and St Joseph’s Church.

Work will involve overnight lane closures on Friday 8 December (westbound direction) and Friday 15 December (eastbound direction), both from 9pm to 5am.

There will be stop/go traffic management in place to allow motorists to travel in both directions but please expect short delays. Resident access from Bradey Road and the St Joseph’s Church driveway will also be maintained.

We ask that you follow directions from roadworkers and drive safely through the worksite.

If postponed, work will be rescheduled for the following Friday.

This is part of the Te Aranui o Te Rangihaeata –Transmission Gully motorway project and the finishing work for this area. We are also coordinating this work with the SH58 safety improvements project.

Thank you for your patience as we complete this section of road.
