From late April to June 2025, we will be carrying out safety improvement works to increase the vehicle capacity on the southbound on-ramp and reinstate the signalised pedestrian crossing.
The SH20 northbound lanes between Puhinui Road and SH20A Airport link shows on-going signs of deterioration. The works will ensure the road continues to remain safe and reliable and improve the journey experience for road users.
In Auckland, we will be installing weigh-in-motion technology at five sites in the Port area. This will include weigh scales and cameras (WIM) and overhead electronic signage (VMS).
We will be conducting daytime bridge maintenance on Span 1 over Te Onewa Pā from 17 February 2025 to January 2026. Work will take place Monday to Friday, 7am–5:30pm, with possible Saturday work if necessary. Repairs will be carried out in an enclosed environment to minimise noise and dust. Notifications will be provided for any disruptions.
