Regional/Territorial Authority Long Term Council Community Plan (LTP)

Introduction

The LTP Long-term council plan in accordance with section 93 of the Local Government Act 2002. is a statutory document, prepared by the Regional Council  The LTP describes the community’s long term goals and priorities, how the council will achieve them and how activities will be funded. The LTP covers a 10-year period and the council is required to report back to the community every 3 years on whether the outcomes are being achieved. Community outcomes are the outcomes that a local authority Any territorial authority or regional council within the meaning of the Local Government Act 2002. aims to achieve in order to promote the social, economic, environmental, and cultural well-being of its district or region.
