Develop the look and feel of the published NLTP - overview

 

Introduction

The NZTA Investment Framework Manager oversees the NZTA workgroup responsible for designing and publishing the National Land Transport NLTP A National Land Transport Programme Interrelated and complementary combination of activities that, when delivered in a coordinated manner, produce synergies – can span more than one work category and more than one activity class, e.g. a programme could include a road improvement and public transport improvement activities. adopted by the NZTA under section 19 of the LTMA, as from time to time amended or varied document. This step involves initial design and layout of the NLTP document(s) and its recommendation to the NZTA Board The NZ Transport Agency Board. . The nature of the launch and who will be involved should be discussed with the Board.

  • experience demonstrates that there is never enough time to complete the NLTP A National Land Transport Programme Interrelated and complementary combination of activities that, when delivered in a coordinated manner, produce synergies – can span more than one work category and more than one activity class, e.g. a programme could include a road improvement and public transport improvement activities. adopted by the NZTA under section 19 of the LTMA, as from time to time amended or varied documentation and its publication, no matter how much time is allocated to it, i.e. every step has to be progressed with urgency
  • the look and feel needs to be sorted as early as possible so that all people involved in drafting, collecting and collating its contents have a clear idea of requirements well in advance, and
  • while the launch of the NLTP A National Land Transport Programme Interrelated and complementary combination of activities that, when delivered in a coordinated manner, produce synergies – can span more than one work category and more than one activity class, e.g. a programme could include a road improvement and public transport improvement activities. adopted by the NZTA under section 19 of the LTMA, as from time to time amended or varied is several months away – probably the following July/August – the Board The NZ Transport Agency Board. ’s advice on the nature of the launch and who is to be involved should be sought at this stage. If the Minister is to be involved in the launch, there will be a need to book the Minister’s attendance well in advance.
