Assess draft NLTP against NZTA’s Investment & Revenue Strategy - overview

 

Introduction

The NZTA’s Strategy & Performance Group is responsible for assessing the draft National Land Transport Programme Interrelated and complementary combination of activities that, when delivered in a coordinated manner, produce synergies – can span more than one work category and more than one activity class, e.g. a programme could include a road improvement and public transport improvement activities.   • while shown as a specific step in the process, the Strategy & Performance Group’s (S&P’s) assessment is expected to be continuous through most of the NLTP A National Land Transport Programme Interrelated and complementary combination of activities that, when delivered in a coordinated manner, produce synergies – can span more than one work category and more than one activity class, e.g. a programme could include a road improvement and public transport improvement activities. adopted by the NZTA under section 19 of the LTMA, as from time to time amended or varied process, providing feedback through the assessment, prioritisation and moderation steps, and
  • there should be considerable discussion between S&P and other NZTA groups prior to formal assessment to ensure that the draft NLTP A National Land Transport Programme Interrelated and complementary combination of activities that, when delivered in a coordinated manner, produce synergies – can span more than one work category and more than one activity class, e.g. a programme could include a road improvement and public transport improvement activities. adopted by the NZTA under section 19 of the LTMA, as from time to time amended or varied is consistent with the NZTA’s Investment and Revenue Strategy.
