Keep left reminder signs

Keep left reminder signs may be useful at locations where other reminders are not suitable, or where driving on the wrong side of the road would be particularly dangerous, such as locations where drivers would not be able to safely return to the correct side of the road or turn around after starting to travel on the wrong side. See Table 13‑2 for signs to remind drivers to keep left on two-way roads and when turning at intersections or when exiting driveways.

W14-11 Keep left		Should be installed where, in the opinion of the RCA, there is a problem with drivers failing to keep left. The diamond-shaped warning sign and supplementary message sign must be installed together as a combination sign. For sign location see note 1
W14-11.1 Drive on left – when turning		Should be installed at intersections or driveways where the RCA considers that drivers turning at the intersection or driveway need a reminder to drive on the left side of the road. The diamond-shaped warning sign and supplementary message sign must be installed together as a combination sign.

Table 13-2 notes:

1. The sign should be located where approaching drivers have an uninterrupted view of it over a distance of at least 120m in rural areas and at least 60m in urban areas.
2. The sign should be installed either in advance of the hazardous section of roadway or in advance of a particular hazard by at least the distance shown in the table below.
