This note advises of minor changes have been made to the Risk Management Plan template to align it with the new Z/44 minimum standard for Risk Management.
This technical advice note is notification that the 2 documents supporting the Z/44 minimum standard for Risk Management have now been updated and that comment is being sought on the new risk register template.
In February 2018, the revised Z/44 minimum standard for Risk Management was published. The two templates that support this standard (Risk Management Plan and Risk Register templates) were temporarily unavailable while they were being updated. These have now been updated and are published on the NZTA website:
Minimum standard Z/44 - Risk management practice guide
Minor changes have been made to the Risk Management Plan template to align it with the new Z/44 minimum standard for Risk Management.
The Risk Register template has been simplified and updated to align with the Transport Agency’s new risk matrix and the revised Z/44 standard. The new template was published in July 2018 as an interim version and we are seeking feedback before 31 August 2018.
Please make use of the revised Risk Register template and provide your feedback to RiskAssSharedMail@nzta.govt.nz All comments and suggestions will be considered before the final template is published.
