Here is a behind the scenes look at slip sites A12 and A13 on State Highway 1 through Mangamuka Gorge, introduced by Howard Mills from GK Shaw, one of our contractors on the project.
Howard led the team of workers building capping beams at these two slip sites – the capping beams are essential structures that strengthen the retaining walls we're installing and improve the stability of the overall structure we're building. In the video you can see the large scale of work that happened at these sites, including the large machinery involved.
