Overnight works to SH1 Penrose Bridge underpass next weekend

Drivers travelling on State Highway 1 in Auckland can expect to see road crews carrying out essential repairs to the Penrose Bridge underpass overnight next Friday 23 February.

Critical repair work to SH1 Dome Valley tonight

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) is advising motorists that critical works to reinstate a median wire rope on SH1 Dome Valley will take place tonight.

Closures ahead for repairs: State Highway 31 - Kāwhia Road

28 Feb update: The planned closure of SH31 – Kāwhia Road on 5 March has been pushed back to Thursday 7 March with a contingency date of Friday 15 March.

Expect delays on SH3 south of Te Kūiti

Drivers on State Highway 3 are advised to expect delays, as work gets underway on Wednesday 28 February on building a retaining wall and culvert, on a stretch of highway between Te Kūiti and the SH3/SH4 junction.

State Highway 25A - overnight closure coming up

SH25A will be closed overnight on Wednesday 6 March to allow our team to carry out some final works at our new bridge on SH25A Taparahi.

Take extra care on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this afternoon

Drivers in Auckland will need to take extra care on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this afternoon (Monday 4 March) with heavy wind gusts predicted between 4pm and 6pm.

Urgent overnight closure: SH16 eastbound link to SH1 northbound link, Newton Road

Due to a fire under the Newton Road bridge last night, there will be an urgent closure on SH16 eastbound link to SH1 northbound link between 9pm and 5am to carry out repair work and inspection of the Newton Road bridge.
