Lower North Island/Upper South Island - Planned state highway roadworks

Lower North Island

• Resurfacing night works will be carried out on Wellington’s urban motorway from 9 December.

Top of the South Island

• The final stages of new roundabouts construction on State Highway 6 at Woodbourne begin on 29 November, and resurfacing work is planned for State Highway 1, Main St, in the first week of December.

• On State Highway 60, resurfacing work continues on Commercial Street from this Sunday, and maintenance work, including daytime closures for chipsealing, are underway on the Tākaka Hill. Safety barrier repairs are also planned for the Ruby Bay Bypass
