Where to register your vehicle

You can register or cancel a vehicle or buy number plates at:

• The Automobile Association(external link) (AA)
• Vehicle Inspection New Zealand(external link) (VINZ)
• Vehicle Testing New Zealand(external link) (VTNZ)
• Other registration agents displaying the NZ Transport Agency logo.  

NZ Post doesn’t process any plate transactions (eg registration or cancellation).
