Safety around railway lines

Many organisations promote safety on and around New Zealand's railways, covering aspects ranging from safe driving behaviours around level crossings to discouraging people from trespassing on and around railways. We have drawn together information on rail safety for:

TrackSAFE and Rail Safety Week

TrackSAFE NZ is a charitable trust that aims to raise awareness about rail safety in New Zealand and educate the public on how to keep themselves safe around tracks and trains. They run public awareness campaigns and support Rail Safety Week.
