Quality standard TQS2

Transit has adopted a two level concept where contracts involving road construction, road maintenance, and structures activities are assigned a quality assurance level High (TQS1) or Normal (TQS2). The standards were originally issued in 1995. It has been updated and re-issued as Second Edition: June 2005. The minimum quality system requirements for state highway physical works contracts that have been assessed at the normal quality assurance level. This standard requires the contractor to develop and work to a contract quality plan for each contract. There is no certification requirement for compliance with Standard TQS2.
