The SH1 Whangārei to Port Marsden Highway project is an upgraded 22km four-lane corridor that will improve transport connections between Auckland and Whangārei. It is part of the New Zealand Upgrade Programme’s $6.8 billion investment to save lives, get our regions moving and boost productivity.
We have confirmed dates for the first community information days for the Whangārei to Port Marsden Highway project.
The drop-in sessions are an opportunity for the public to view the emerging preferred corridor, meet the project team and get an overview of what’s planned at this early stage in the process.
You can drop in at anytime during our opening hours:
Information will also be available at the Waka Kotahi site at Northland Field Days, 4–6 March. All information presented at community events will be available at the site.
Please note these sessions are subject to COVID-19 restrictions and therefore could be cancelled at short notice. We ask you to follow government guidelines and do not attend if you feel unwell.
