The Roads of National Significance (RoNS) are a package of major transport projects that, once completed, will support economic growth and productivity, reduce congestion, improve safety, support housing development, and provide a more resilient roading network.
We are moving at pace to position ourselves for successful delivery of the Roads of National Significance (pending funding confirmation under the 2024-27 NLTP).
Pending confirmation of funding, we are looking to begin construction on the Roads of National Significance over the next three years and establish a 10-year construction pipeline.
