Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises SH25A will be closed overnight between Kopu and Hikuai on Monday 9 December and Tuesday 10 December for road resurfacing.
The closure will take place between 8.00pm and 5.00am on both nights, with a detour in place using State Highway 26 between Kopu and Paeroa, State Highway 2 from Paeroa to Waihi and State Highway 25 from Waihi to Hikuai. Motorists travelling from Hikuai should take the same route in reverse.
The resurfacing works are being undertaken on a narrow section of road and there is not sufficient space to allow traffic past while works are underway.
Our contractors will also take advantage of the road closure to undertake other essential road maintenance.
