The NZ Transport Agency advises there will be major delays for southbound traffic across the Auckland Harbour Bridge after a truck crashed and blocked most lanes at the base of the bridge.
Two lanes have reopened but two remain blocked and traffic is backing up with delays of up to 90 minutes expected.
Motorists are advised to delay all non-essential travel on SH1, avoid the area, consider working from home. Bus services are affected. There are also significant delays on the Western Ring Route.
