The NZ Transport Agency advises there will be major delays on southbound lanes of the Auckland Harbour Bridge after a truck crashed and blocked most south bound lanes.
Two lanes are open but three are blocked and traffic is backing up with delays of 90 minutes expected.
It is not yet clear when all lanes will reopen so motorists are advised to delay all non-essential travel on SH1, avoid the area, consider working from home and use the Western Ring Route to go south. Bus services are also be affected.
