State Highway 3 near Inglewood in Taranaki is closed for vehicle recovery and a detour is in place.
This road is closed between Lepper Road Upper and Egmont Road.
The NZ Transport Agency says people can expect delays and should check the NZTA website, social media or call 0800 4 HIGHWAYS before travelling.
