Due to a serious crash near the summit of the Remutaka Hill shortly before 7 am this morning, State Highway 2 is CLOSED between Kaitoke and Featherston.
The road will remain closed while emergency services and the Police Serious Crash Unit are at the scene. Road users should avoid the area and delay their journeys.
