The NZ Transport Agency is advising motorists that diversions are in place on State Highway 1 north of Auckland following a serious crash near Puhoi.
Traffic is being diverted off State Highway 1 to State Highway 16 between Silverdale and Warkworth.
Emergency services are at the scene.
