As part of the New Zealand Transport Agency’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the State Highway network, road resurfacing works are being undertaken along a 1.2 km section of SH3 Ōhaupō Road starting at a point 100 metres north of Douch Rd and finishing 400 metres south of West Rd.

The works will start on Saturday 8 March 2014 and will be completed during daylight hours Monday to Saturday. The duration of works is expected to be around three weeks (weather permitting) with an expected completion date of 31 March 2014. The works involve full width road reshaping and resurfacing.

Minor delays are expected and a speed restriction of 30 km/h will be in place during this work. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience to motorists. Vehicle access for local residents will be available at all times. Be prepared to expect minor delays and follow the instructions of the Traffic Controllers when exiting and entering your property and when moving through the site.
