A crash has closed State Highway 3 at Inglewood, between Dudley Road and Durham Road.
There is a detour available and road users are asked to follow directions from emergency services on site.
Waka Kotahi is advising road users to delay their journey if at all possible and if travelling through the area, to expect delays.
