The NZ Transport Agency advises the Tauranga-bound lane on State Highway 29 at Ruahihi, in the lower Kaimai Range, will be closed from 11am for several hours.
This is to allow access for a recovery team following a crash yesterday evening.
Traffic will be down to a single lane with stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions in place.
Please take extra care and expect delays. Motorists are encouraged to delay unnecessary travel, where possible.
