Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises State Highway 2 is closed between the Moffat Road roundabout in Bethlehem and 15th Avenue in Tauranga due to a police incident. The Takitimu Drive toll road is also closed.
Motorists are advised to delay unnecessary travel, use alternative routes and follow the instructions of emergency services and traffic management staff on site.
