The NZ Transport Agency is advising that SH1 is closed between Galaxy Road and Campbell Road south of Tokoroa in both directions, due two separate truck crashes.
One crash is serious and motorists should expect delays.
A detour is in place via State Highway 32, Whakamaru Road and State Highway 30, Ongaroto Road.
We ask motorists to please avoid the area or allow extra time for your journey.
