The NZ Transport Agency is advising that SH1 Pukerua Bay is closed in both directions due a truck that rolled earlier this morning and motorists should expect significant delays.
The detour is via Paekākāriki Hill Road. This road is suitable for light vehicles only.
It is not clear when SH1 will reopen. Please avoid the area and consider delaying your travel this morning.
