Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is advising that State Highway 1 (SH1) at Manakau is closed to due a serious crash.
The road is closed north of the South Manakau Road intersection. There is a detour available and motorists are advised to follow directions of emergency services on site.
It is not yet known how long the road will remain closed. Motorists should expect delays and plan ahead.
