Due to a serious crash on State Highway 1 Dome Valley between Kaipara Flats Road and Wayby Valley Road this evening, the road is closed in both directions.
Emergency services are onsite and we expect the road to remain closed for a number of hours as a crane is brought in to remove a vehicle from the road.
Motorists are advised to expect delays or postpone their travel plans. Another update will be provided when the road is re-opened.
