The NZ Transport Agency advises that State Highway 1 Urban Motorway is closed northbound from the Terrace Tunnel to the Aotea on ramp due to a serious crash.
It is not clear when the road will reopen. Please avoid the area and use Aotea Quay as an alternative route.
