Road works this weekend along SH2 south of Te Puke

|

The NZ Transport Agency wishes to advise motorists planning to travel along State Highway 2 south of Te Puke that speed restrictions and manual traffic operations will be in place tomorrow Saturday 23 November from 7.30am to 5.00pm as part of routine road resurface maintenance works.

The resurfacing work will be carried out between Strang Road and Rangiuru Road along the highway, delays are expected and drivers are encouraged to allow additional travel time in their journeys.

The resurface works will continue along the highway on Sunday 24 November at the same time (between 7.30am to 5.00pm), between No1 Road and Te Matai Road south of Te Puke.  A 30 km/h speed restriction and manual traffic management will be in place during the duration of the works.

This work is weather dependent, and if wet, the work will be undertaken on the next suitable day.

The Transport Agency thanks motorists for their patience and ongoing co-operation while this work is being carried out.
