Night works on SH30 Te Ngae Rd from Sunday

|

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises overnight repair works on State Highway 30 Te Ngae Rd between Wahanga-A-Rangi Crescent and Cookson Road will get underway from Sunday.

Bay of Plenty System Manager Rob Campbell encourages people to expect delays and drive with care through the work site to ensure the safety of themselves, road workers and other road users.

“Work will take place between 6.00pm and 6.00am with traffic shifted off the Tauranga-bound lane and a 50km/h temporary speed limit in place.

“The lane shift and 50km/hour temporary speed limit will remain in place during the day, for the duration of the works.”

Works are expected to be completed by early-February, weather dependent.

“The Transport Agency thanks road users for their patience.”

Plan ahead for a safe, enjoyable journey this summer. Keep up to date with:
