Diversion in place for southbound traffic on SH30 Te Ngae Rd due to burst water main

|

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises southbound traffic on State Highway 30 Te Ngae Road is being diverted near Sunshine Ave due to damage to the road caused by a water main break.

Southbound traffic is being diverted from Te Ngae Road, onto Coulter Road, Glenfield Road, Wharaenui Road and back onto Te Ngae Road, as water is flooding the road and causing damage to the road surface.

Bay of Plenty System Manager Rob Campbell says the diversion is likely to be in place until at least 3pm.

“The Transport Agency thanks road users for their patience.”
